I hope everyone is enjoying whatever holiday it is you celebrate during the winter season!


For me, it's been a great holiday~


I received many thoughtful gifts from my family~


Since this is the first year I've had to go shopping for all of my relatives with my own money, Christmas definitely felt more stressful than it ever has before.


Out of this entire experience, I found that wrapping gifts is the most fun part~


I don't know if any of my other family members felt this way, but for some reason I felt inclined to take as much time possible admiring the wrapping and carefully unwrapping presents.

Not that I took much time to wrap my own, but I really enjoy wrapping paper, bows and ribbons


I was definitely the last person to open all of their gifts...


I think I'll show my gifts in detail tomorrow after I've diffused a bit.


Lastly, I've filmed a Christmas themed dance cover with KuroPOP~ 




It's Orange Caramel's  "My Copycat"


It was fun~


It was a nice break from Nico Nico Douga styled dance convers.


But working with someone other than Ari is definitely challenging 


I think I'm still adjusting to the other member's more upbeat attitudes while we're practicing and recording. It's definitely something I have to work on~

But soon it will get too cold to even be outside for more than a few minutes....

I'm not looking forward to that!!!!

(Relatively) New hair~

I like it a lot and I'm trying to take care of it so that I can keep it this way for a while...

Yesterday was KuroPOP rehearsal~

Wednesday rehearsal really has become the best part of my week~

These days I always look forward to them~

The members are all have really strong personalities so there's never a dull moment~

Even after rehearsal is over we'll usually hang out and talk for a while~

It also feels like schedule is slowly but surely becoming more predictable so prepare yourself for some Nico lives~!!!

Late night post~

It's been a while since my last post so I'll highlight some events.

I've seen BABYMETAL.

Easily one of the most exciting concerts I've ever been to~

The concert ran smoothly, SUMETAL is an extremely talented vocalist and YUIMETAL and MOAMETAL never lost steam. The band was extremely intense and the lighting matched that intensity. But somehow through all of the double peddles and booming power chords the only thing I could think was THEY ARE SO CUTE.

They're official apparel comes in crewnecks!!!!

Check it chocolate, chocolate, cho cho cho~

I will definitely see them again when they return for their 2015 tour~


Perfume.

Amazing~

They're so beautiful~

And are one a completely different level of performance than younger performers like BABYMETAL or Morning Musume. I loved their outfits and the stage set up so much~

The MCs were hilarious~!!!

I was impressed because even though there was a language barrier they didn't freak out when translating became difficult at times and troubleshooted without needing the help of staff. It was a whole new level of professionalism that you don't see in younger idol groups.

Very entertaining from start to finish~

Finally seeing Chocolate Disco on stage was probably one of the highlights of my year.

I didn't get on the merchandise line before the concert this time so that we could get better spots in the audience that previous concerts.

We were so close~!!!

I hope they come back soon, there were more songs I wanted to hear....

And today I traveled for a photoshoot with KuroPOP

With members Natsuki, Fuyu and Yuki~

This was last night when we slept over at Natsuki's house so that we could leave together in the morning.

I think the shot's came out pretty good.

I can't wait to show everyone~
