Freedom!!

 Almost...

Today was the last day of classes!

I performed Friday, Saturday and twice on Sunday for the last of my school's dance showcases.

The dance showcase is the main reason why I haven't blogged regularly. Just last week I've had 10 to 8 days with no break because of tech rehearsal on top of regular rehearsals and classes.

It was draining and sometimes stressful but still loads of fun. About fifteen of my family members showed up for the matinee Sunday performance O.o

I was so surprised!! I'm so glad they came! ヽ(‘ ∇‘ )ノ ﾜｰｲ

Thank you Mom for telling everyone about it and bringing them!!　 (人´3｀)⌒♡   

I love my family ♥　

Now all I have to worry about are finals and I will be in

   (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧  SUMMER MODE

Omg I'm going to be a Senior in college next semester. Technically I already am. What am I even doing this summer. Everyone's at least doing a summer intensive or something....

My dismal future aside, Ari brought me a USB chord when she was here to visit,so I uploaded some pictures from Reni's Maid Show onto our facebook page

Last week I posted my audition for Oishii! Ichigo Project. It's an online international singing group!!

There are over 50 entries. I hope my stands out among the masses><

                                     

Mine was a bit rushed because I was coming straight from rehearsal and had to run to the library shortly afterwards. It was literally the only time I had to record.

I wish I had more time to do a more decent job (I'm in sweats for Pete's sake)

But it is the best I could do at the time so hopefully it'll be enough.

The deadline was today so good luck to everyone who entered!

Track Scratch

Hi there!!

I'm currently in the middle of writing a paper for class this afternoon and I don't think I'll be making it to my morning classes haha.

The same twelve page paper that I mentioned in my last post.

This one will be short.

March 30th the third piece I've ever choreographed was performed!!

I'm a bit of a perfectionist so when I saw it on stage I was honestly a little disappointed with how it had turned out. But somehow I've recieved so much praise about it ><!!




It's called Track Scratch and I choreographed it to Pogo's Whisperlude. (hence the title)

There are many ideas that went into this piece. If you're interested I talk a little about how I came up with the idea in the description box on the video.

Teachers and students came up to me the following week telling me how much they enjoyed my piece. There were even people who hadn't seen it that approached me telling me all the good things they'd heard about it.

I still can't believe all of the attention I've been getting because of this piece.

It kind of makes me nervous ><

I'm honestly not used to being payed much attention to. So every time someone came up to me, I was happy with knots in my stomach.

One day my teacher brought up my piece in class and how interesting it was and that somehow opened up the discussion to other things people said they liked out me, from the way I choreograph to how I dance.

I was COMPLETELY overwhelmed >///< I had no idea!!

I didn't know what to say ;;

But none the less, I was happy that I wasn't completely invisible, haha.

Even though I love dancing, I don't have that much confidence in it.

I just do what I like  (*´ω｀*)

And an absolute sweetheart!

She is and always has been my favorite^^

In a about two weeks Ari an I will be reunited again since it'll be her Spring Break!!

I can't wait ><!!

Last week a dance that I choreographed to Pogo's Whisperlude was showcased in the Junior Dance Comp. Show!!

There were 8 or 9 choreographers but it's safe to say that my piece was the most talked about. ;w;

I couldn't be happier. Even people who hadn't seen it heard about it and came up to me telling me so!!
People that normally would never initiate conversation with me!! I'm not used to this kind of attention so I was a bit reserved with my thanks but inside I was ready to die><!

In a good way

A recording of it should be up sometime this week!

Anyways

I have a 12 page paper due next week that I haven't started. So until that's done I'm pretty much dead to the world!!
